New Blood Interactive hid 5 hot games inside a trailer for a bunch of other games
New Blood Interactive is back at the PC Gaming Show this twelvemonth to remind of us whol the cool games information technology's devising. The sizzle keel includes a brief look at Fallen Aces, Ultrakill, Dusk 82, Amid Evil's The Illegal Labyrinth expansion, Unfortunate Spacemen, Faith: The Unholy Trinity, Gloomwood, and a look at Dusk mods.
But sprinkled in between each game in the video were little, black-and-empty intermezzo clips of other games that New Blood has yet to herald. There are five in total, take a flavour:
In order of appearance, I saw five things:
- A top-down hired gun
- A Radioactive dust-mode isometric CRPG
- A car armed combat game
- A distressful visual new
- A first-someone axe chop
To gravel the fundament of these supernatural new games I had a chat with Brand-new Blood CEO Dave Oshry. He explained that entirely five games are a real thing that the developer plans to work and a few of them are already far along in development. That clip that looks like a top-down twin-dumbfound taw? "We've been working on it for days," Oshry said. He said information technology basically plays like Condemn from the top-down, right-down with handcrafted levels and a bunny hop.
The Radioactive dust-style RPG is also real and a dream project for Oshry, but right straight off it's more like-minded a prototype. "[Fallout] is my favorite game of all time, information technology's my best-loved genre." Oshry estimates it'll be finished in "like ten days" if it ever gets done.
The car scrap game is slenderly more real than the RPG, but Oshry says it's just a gameplay prototype for now. That disturbing visual refreshing is apparently a Faith spinoff unfit that was originally an April Fools joke. "We call information technology Doki Doki Mortis Club internally," atomic number 2 same. That's not a final name, but that and the whole hominian fortify protruding unsuccessful of the fiber talking, says about every I need to know.
Lastly, there's the shot of a first-person character catching an axe. Oshry confirmed that this is an official VR version of Amid Evil that's been in development for a while already. He didn't rich person some more than to say about it now, but Amid Evil feels like the perfect fit for VR: lots of rewarding scrimmage weapons and lawless steady design that'll in all likelihood look cool to actually stand in.
The main goal of these stealing announcements, according to Oshry, was to show that New Rakehell has a lot much going along in its future. "We're teasing five new games and they're in five new genres. We Don't truly wish to make up pigeonholed with retro FPSes." Announcing five games that aren't FPSes seems like a jolly good way to do that.
